Ambassador of Serbia Visits Gwalior to Strengthen Cultural, Educational, and Economic Ties

His Excellency Mr. Siniša Pavić, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to India, paid an official visit to the historic city of Gwalior on July 24–25, 2025, further advancing bilateral ties between Serbia and India.

On July 24, Ambassador Pavić delivered the Scindia–Karađorđević Lecture organized by the Scindia Research Centre. The lecture offered a platform to reflect on the shared historical and cultural heritage of both nations, with particular reference to Prince Božidar Karađorđević’s impressions of Gwalior’s with his reflection on the timeless stillness of Gwalior’s palace courtyards resonating strongly.

On July 25, the Ambassador addressed students of Gwalior Fort School, emphasizing the value of educational exchange and youth engagement in international friendship. The students' keen interest and enthusiasm reflected a promising foundation for future collaboration. His Excellency also held discussions with representatives of the Gwalior Chamber of Commerce to examine possibilities for expanding bilateral economic cooperation. 

Ambassador Pavić also visited several historic landmarks in Gwalior, underscoring the shared appreciation of cultural heritage that continues to enrich Serbia–India relations.

The visit marked a meaningful step toward strengthening Serbia–India relations across multiple sectors.
