Siniša Pavić

Born on January 13, 1970, in Smederevo.

Completed primary and secondary education in Smederevo. Completed military service from 1988 to 1989. Earned the title of Bachelor of Laws upon graduating from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, in 1993.

On February 16, 2022, presented letters of credence to President N. Kovind in the capacity of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of India.

July 2020 to February 2022 – Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in New Delhi (India), which also non-residentially covers Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

July 2020 – Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

January 2019 – July 2020 – Assistant to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

April 2013 – December 2018 – Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Thessaloniki (Greece);

September 2009 – November 2012 – Department for Personnel and Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (from First Counselor to Head of Department in the rank of Minister-Counselor);

May 2005 – September 2009 – Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Paris (First Secretary, then Counselor, and since 2007, Head of the Consular Section);

February 2003 – May 2005 – Head of the Department for Immovable Property within the Department for Property and Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in the rank of First Secretary);

August 1998 – January 2003 – Attaché at the Embassy of the FRY in Tunis;

July 1996 – Trainee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

April 1994 – July 1996 – Judicial Trainee – District Court in Belgrade;

Passed the bar exam (1996);

Attended training in media communication and project management in public administration.

 

Speaks French and English and has working knowledge of Greek and German.
