Telegram of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, on the occasion of the weather disasters that hit the west of that country and caused landslides in which a large number of people died.

"On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you and the families who lost their loved ones", the minister said in the telegram, expressing confidence that the people engaged in fighting this disaster would save many lives and property.

In the telegram, Minister Selaković said that Serbia sympathizes with India in these difficult moments, and that it is ready to provide support and assistance in eliminating the consequences of this natural disaster, in the spirit of friendly relations.
